We attach great value to doing the right thing

In all communities in which we operate, SBM Offshore is committed to conducting its business honestly, ethically and lawfully.

All employees and those working for or on behalf of SBM Offshore must embrace and act in accordance with our core Values, Code of Conduct and our Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. We aim to maintain an open dialogue about what it means to do the right thing and foster a culture of trust and fairness, where dilemmas are openly addressed. Our aim is to enable our employees and business partners to make the right decisions, with commitment to integrity at all levels. In recognition of this commitment, we have implemented a comprehensive ethics and compliance program applicable for the entire group of companies. It is designed to prevent, detect and respond to compliance risks and promote an ethical culture, in line with our Core Values and Code of Conduct.

The Code of Conduct builds on our Core Values:

Integrity – Care – Entrepreneurship – Ownership.

These are at the heart of SBM Offshore, driving our quality performance in a safe and compliant manner.

“The Code is designed to help making responsible choices”

The Code of Conduct, which is build on four pillars, goes beyond compliance with rules and gives examples of the behavior that can be expected of SBM Offshore’s employees and anyone acting on behalf of SBM Offshore.

Compliance Guide for third parties

To reinforce the message and engage our third parties in this journey with us, SBM Offshore prepared a Compliance Guide for Third Parties with an overview of best practices of our commitment to lead business responsibly. This guide is meant as complementary document to the Code of Conduct and company policies.
